We want to teach our students to take social responsibility, engage in volunteer work, and contribute to their local communities. Therefore, we collaborate with Hurdal municipality, Hurdal sports club, the Volunteer Center, Hurdal congregation, the Sunday School, and local associations, where our students get the opportunity to get involved.

Saturday Seminar – with topics ranging from environmental protection to human dignity, first aid, alcohol, doping, trafficking, aid work, and much more. All folk high schools have mandatory Saturday classes most Saturdays.

House Group – meeting with those you live with to build a good community in the dormitory.

Sing Life – music listening and school choir.

Current Events – where we talk about current events, social changes, and news.

Shared Tasks – where everyone contributes to keeping their surroundings clean and pleasant through tidying and cleaning.
