HISTORY
Hurdal Verk has a history dating back to 1755, when one of Norway’s first glassworks was established here. Hence the name Hurdal Verk. The folk high school was founded in 1945 and is owned by Misjonssambandet. If you would like to purchase the book about Hurdal Verk’s history written by former principal John Petter Stangeland (2020), you can contact us.
