The line travels on a study trip to Italy, the land of food, and the “Eternal City” Rome. We will experience food culture and discover how the Italians’ passion for food, and the quality of ingredients, contribute to exquisite dishes. At the same time, we will see that good food can be incredibly simple to make.

Look forward to authentic culinary experiences; authentic Italian Pizza, the most delicious pasta dishes, Gelato, Supplì, Porchetta, Trattoria, and more. There will be courses in making pizza the Italian way, and courses in making the world’s best ice cream: Italian Gelato.

Rome is also an incredibly beautiful city with a special timeless atmosphere, full of beautiful buildings and fountains. We will soak in the ambiance and also visit some of the most iconic places such as the Colosseum, Pantheon, and the Vatican.

Is folk high school expensive?
Some believe that folk high school is expensive, but it is significantly cheaper to live in a dormitory at a folk high school than to rent a student room.

With us, you get your own room, access to a washing machine and dryer, a kitchenette with a refrigerator and stove, common rooms, a fitness room, a gym, and other activity rooms, and prepared meals 4 times a day.
What does the price for Tasty cover?
The price includes an international trip to Rome, all food prepared on the line, all trips in Norway, and all other activities on the line. Minimum half board is included on our trips. However, we reserve the right to change prices due to circumstances beyond the school’s control, such as significant changes in airfares, exchange rates, fuel costs, government regulations, security situations, war, unrest, or cancellations in transport services. In such cases, it may be necessary to adjust the price to carry out the trip. The school will, in such cases, strive to limit the cost increase as much as possible. If the price increase exceeds 10% of the line price, the student will have the right to withdraw from the trip without further costs.
