Do you want a daily life filled with creative joy?

In this line, you can use your hands and create your own products. And best of all: You don’t need any prior experience. You’ll learn everything from scratch!

• Make beautiful cups, bowls, plates, pitchers, and vases in ceramics

Materials we work with

CERAMICS

You will learn various ceramic techniques, such as throwing, modeling, and sculpting, and get to create your own unique items. Add your personal touch to what you’ve made by glazing it, before it’s fired into a beautiful product you can use yourself. Or perhaps give as a gift?

TEXTILES

How cool would it be to learn to sew your own clothes? Make your own trousers, shirts, sweaters, jackets, or dresses, and get a more sustainable wardrobe? You don’t need any prior experience with a sewing machine, and you’ll be surprised at what you can achieve!

REDESIGN

We’ll visit thrift stores and find used clothes that you can upcycle and personalize. At Handmade, you can come as a beginner and learn fundamental skills that you can develop as far as you wish.

KNITTING

Knitting has become very popular. Do you want to join the trend and learn how to knit a beautiful sweater, scarf, balaclava, hat, mittens, wool socks, or anything else you desire? We explore various yarn types and you’ll learn different techniques from scratch.

LINOCUT

Linocut printing is a popular form of printing that involves carving a design into a linoleum block and printing the image onto paper. You can create creative and beautiful images, cards, or small, fine items for a scrapbook, if you have one. With linocut printing, you can create beautiful works of art with few tools.

BARISTA

Do you want to learn to make coffee like a pro? We have a real espresso machine where you can learn “latte art” and create artistic expressions in coffee. You can experiment to find out which coffee beans you like best, and perhaps be inspired to get a part-time job as a barista when you go to university?

Join us in Marrakech and on a journey around Morocco!

The trip takes place in October and offers lots of colors and inspiration for your work, especially in ceramics and textiles. We visit local markets where there’s a buzz of life, smells, colors, and impressions. You’ll get to ride a camel in the desert, enjoy beautiful sunsets, and delicious aromatic spiced food.

Find inspiration in Barcelona’s colorful landscape and some of the world’s most iconic artworks.

We visit famous artworks around Barcelona, participate in creative workshops with Spanish artisans, and get opportunities to transform ideas into art. Here we also hunt for local second-hand shops, while searching for the best coffee shop in the city.
