The active travel line

Explore is an active line with lots of sports, outdoor activities and activity during a regular week.

In everyday life you will get to try everything from climbing, snorkeling, surfing, bubble football, disc golf, various ball games, skiing/snowboarding, be challenged in cardio and strength training and much more. It is therefore important that you enjoy sports and training, and are willing to meet new challenges.

Indonesia- Bali – Lombok

Join us when we move the classroom to Indonesia, Bali and Lombok

We have traveled with school classes to Indonesia for many years, and have local Norwegian contacts who live there, and who help us tailor a completely unique trip for us. You get to try surfing, snorkeling and jungle tours. But it becomes even more educational when we go to a children’s center where you get to play and play football with the children, and help organize a fun program for them. This is an exciting cultural encounter that makes an impression, and something you will definitely remember. There will of course also be time to experience beaches and waterfalls and mountain hikes in indescribably beautiful nature.

Bali is an exotic and beautiful island in Indonesia with a warm climate, friendly locals and delicious food. But also the neighboring island of Lombok is one of Indonesia’s absolute gems and is said to be what Bali was like 20 years ago. The island has many beaches and an even more leisurely pace than you will experience in Bali.

We in Explore call ourselves “Explorers“, and as the word suggests, we move around relatively often so that we get to experience more.

Montenegro – Croatia – Albania

Our second trip goes to the Balkan Peninsula, known for its fantastic nature, rich history and culture.

Here we find a unique combination of fantastic beaches, mountains and beautiful coastal towns. Croatia has the famous islands and the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, Montenegro has dramatic cliffs and bays. In Albania hospitality is more than just a courtesy – it’s a way of life! With “Besa”, the country’s code of honor, you don’t just become a guest, but part of the family. Here doors are opened, meals are shared and friendships are created for life.

The trip will include a wonderful mix of activities such as rafting, mountain hiking and cycling in spectacular nature, kayaking, and zipline if you dare? This in combination with cultural and natural experiences such as the waterfalls in Plitvice Lakes National Park, makes this an unforgettable experience.

You will love the food. Here you will find the best from the Middle East, a mix of Mediterranean dishes, Italian influences – fresh seafood, and local specialties like burek.

Amazing Race

If you are standing in the middle of Oslo Central Station without money and need to get north, south, east or west in the shortest possible time – What do you do?

At Explore we create our own “Amazing Race”. The class is divided into groups that get tasks you will solve together. You will make your way on your own, encounter various obstacles and get new challenges at different pit stops. Here you will need creativity, unconventional solutions and a bit of “guts” when you compete against classmates to be the first to reach the goal, where the prize awaits…

Everyday life at Explore will be filled with many different activities and themes.

We go through several theme weeks throughout the year, you get to try Dilemma Week, Masters of Masters, Traitors, student evening, and there will definitely be some surprises along the way…
