We hereby confirm that we have received your enrollment fee and that you have secured a place at Hurdal Verk Folk High School. You can now enter your ROOM PREFERENCES and view IMPORTANT DATES for the school year.

We recommend double rooms for the very best boarding experience.

NB: Even though we are one of the folk high schools in the country with the most single rooms, it sometimes happens that more people request single rooms than we have available. In recent years we have had a completely full school, and we therefore cannot guarantee that everyone will get their 1st choice for room type. Room preferences are allocated just before school starts in August, and are not finalized before the first day of school.

If a single room is essential for you to be a student with us, and you need confirmation of this before school starts, you must send us a medical certificate in advance.

The allocation of double rooms is done based on the applications, where we try to match students with common interests, and we usually get it right.

The different rooms are called Kursinternatet double room, Hesteskoen double room, Hesteskoen single room and Fløya single room. (Tip: DOUBLE-click on the small images to go directly to the rooms).

Permission to Contact Next of Kin

In the event of a serious incident or accident, we need to know who you want us to contact. We do not disclose personal information, absence or sensitive information to your next of kin, unless you have specifically instructed us to do so.

The date for school start, holidays and other important dates can be found here.

During autumn breaks, Christmas break, winter break, and Easter break, the school and boarding houses are closed. This means you cannot stay at the school during these periods.

We reserve the right to make minor changes to the school calendar. Students will be informed of any changes.
